Sambo Creek
Posted by dozer on June 1, 2005We went to one of the Garifuna communities (some of you might remember them from Spanish class) to hang out at the beach and get some fresh seafood a little bit closer to home.
It’s a really neat, tight little community full of hard working individuals. Men will usually work all day boating and fishing while the women stay home and watch the kids or the kids become entrepreneurs and everyone has their own way to make a few bucks here and there.
- Kids
- Ice Chunks, not Cubes
- Carried off by the waves
- Enjoying a day at the beach
- Looking for birds
- Above all else, the Guard Dog
